ABOUT MINT COLLECTIVE

We are a premium experience design agency creating elevated activations for corporate teams and global brands. We operate at the intersection of experience design, event production, and creative strategy, delivering high-touch, in-person experiences rooted in intentional design and connection to place.

We serve as a full-service partner for Corporate Retreats and Brand Activations, while also collaborating with destination management companies and event partners on select programs.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a remote, full-time Activation Sales Manager role responsible for developing and managing sales within a defined geographic territory. The role combines 50% Inbound Sales Management and 50% Outbound Business Development.

The Activation Sales Manager is responsible for managing all inbound leads within an assigned territory and guiding clients through the early stages of the sales process.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, helping translate client goals into experiential activation concepts aligned with Mint Collective’s services.

INBOUND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Managing inbound leads within a designated geographic territory

  • Leading discovery conversations to understand client goals, budget, timeline, and scope.

  • Developing high-level experience concepts aligned with client objectives.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to build preliminary proposals and budgets

  • Guiding opportunities from initial inquiry through proposal and contracting stages

  • Maintaining accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, and follow-up activity

  • Representing Mint Collective professionally in client-facing conversations

  • Ensuring all opportunities align with Mint Collective’s brand positioning and services

OUTBOUND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (Territory Growth)

This role is also responsible for proactively building relationships and generating new opportunities within an assigned territory.

Success in this role requires a strong ability to identify potential clients, initiate conversations, and build long-term partnerships that lead to experiential activations

  • Identifying and researching prospective clients within the territory

  • Conducting strategic outreach to DMC’s, hotels, corporate clients and brands.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with potential referral partners

  • Developing targeted prospect lists and outreach strategies

  • Generating qualified opportunities aligned with Mint Collective services

  • Ensuring all prospecting activities are tracked in CRM

  • Attending industry events, networking opportunities, or market visits when appropriate

  • Maintaining consistent outbound activity to grow the pipeline and expand market presence

Qualifications:

Experience in sales, experiential marketing, corporate events, or brand activations DMC, hospitality, or corporate event industry experience strongly required.

Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to translate client needs into experiences.

Experience managing inbound inquiries, outbound prospecting, and pipeline development.

Ability to maintain an organized sales pipeline and track opportunities in a CRM.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client presentation skills

Ability to guide prospects through early proposal and budgeting conversations.

Comfort working remotely in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment while representing a premium experiential brand

COMPENSATION & PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

This is a full-time salaried role with commission incentives tied to sales performance within the assigned territory.

Success in this role is measured by generating and converting opportunities into confirmed programs.

Expectations include managing inbound leads, building an outbound pipeline, meeting revenue targets, maintaining CRM accuracy, and contributing to overall activation sales growth.
