Oceanfront HOT & COLD THERAPY LOUNGE at Sessions Surf Festival
Partnering with Tylö Saunas to launch their first Southern California brand pop-up, we brought an elevated thermal wellness experience to the opening weekend of the Sessions Surf Festival in coastal Encinitas, California. Designed to bridge the gap between high-performance recovery and festival culture, this immersive activation introduced attendees to the restorative power of contrast therapy.
Catering to both festival-goers and headline performers, we designed and built two dedicated activation spaces: an exclusive backstage sanctuary for artists and pro surfers, and an inviting, high-traffic booth for general admission guests. Both locations featured Tylö’s Luleå Collection outdoor saunas paired with Hot Spring’s Vigor cold plunge tubs. Guests cycled through hot-and-cold contrast sessions, experiencing the science-backed benefits of thermal recovery by boosting circulation, easing muscle tension, and resetting the mind between surf heats and music sets.
By blending premium design, social connection, and contrast therapy science with the vibrant energy of Encinitas, the activation elevated the festival experience for athletes, artists, and festival goers alike.
