100+ Female Founders and Operator gather for a retreat on the MONTAUK WATERFRONT
Camp FFF is an invitation-only retreat for leading female founders and operators building some of today's most influential companies. Hosted by Female Founders Fund at the Montauk Yacht Club, this was its sixth annual iteration.
The mission was simple: create space for ambitious women to build meaningful relationships with peers who understand the unique realities of entrepreneurship.
Year six kicked off strong with a waterfront welcome reception and garden party dinner. Bobbi Brown, last year’s Female Founder of the Year, introduced Tory Burch, this year’s honoree as guests enjoyed a meal curated by their Chef-In-Residence Alison Roman. The evening concluded with a live comedy performance.
Programming balanced thoughtful leadership conversations with moments of genuine play. Mornings began with outdoor movement and wellness sessions on the lawn with Taryn Toomey of The Class and Jules Bakshi of GOOD MOVE NYC followed by specialty matcha and coffee bars to fuel the day's main general sessions. Founder-led roundtable lunches created space for candid conversations, peer mentorship, and the kind of business insights that rarely happen inside a conference room.
Field Day brought a nostalgic burst of friendly competition. Outfitted in custom Camp FFF trucker hats, and team bandanas, founders bonded through spirited outdoor competitions like hula-hoop relays and a classic game of tug-of-war.
To tap into their creative side, attendees were invited to experience “Artist-In-Residence” workshops with jewelry brand éliou and a painting class with Kate Schelter.
As the days unfolded, structured programming gave way to the moments that couldn't be scheduled: new friendships, honest advice, future collaborations, and conversations that lingered long after dinner ended.
Powerful human connection isn't the byproduct of a great event. It's the purpose. In an increasingly digital world, experiences like Camp FFF remind us that the most meaningful moments don't happen by accident, they're thoughtfully designed, and expertly executed. Once again, Camp FFF was the container for relationship building that endures long after the retreat ends.
